How’s your summer going? At this very moment, Baltimore is experiencing its second excessive heat wave this year, it is bloody hot.

We’re taking a bit of rest from wonderful Pride activities. We participated in DC Pride and an author’s panel; we marched in Baltimore’s Pride Parade; THIS: A Simple Complex Love Story was selected for a local library’s Pride display; and we participated in Woodlawn Library’s annual Community Reading Festival. As the political rhetoric crescendos to a fever pitch between now and November, we want you to stay encouraged and engaged because your voice and your vote matters. We’ll be voting like our marriage matters. We’ll be voting like women’s health and reproductive freedom matters. We’ll be voting like veterans and our service and our benefits matter. We’ll be voting like our constitutional republic matters. We hope you do too.
